With Expanded Listening and Alibeta

The multidisciplinary artist Alibeta talks about his practice focussing on his artistic research and work on the "Pinguin Bar". The Penguin Bar was a place in post-war Berlin that was both a social meeting place for exchange, resistance and remembrance of the Black community. In conversation with Sarah Israel and Oscar Atanga, Alibeta outlines the significance of the bar with a view to a discourse to be conducted on African legacies and presence in Germany.
