Miaan: Hybrid mode | AAMIROO, DJ Durbin, Hanic & Vasylysa

Milan presents a two-hour special to bring together the artists shaping our upcoming event. The show dives into their sounds, influences, and creative processes by featuring music and interviews with the artists. The show features Hanic, who reworks SWANA music with synth-pop, jazz, and electronic elements whilst blending Farsi, Turkish, Arabic, and Kurdish in a playful and experimental way. Vasylysa from Ukraine brings indie-emo ballads on the bandura and guitar, their voice carrying themes of longing and lost homes. DJ Durbin, a Berlin-based producer with releases on Row Records and Pressure Dome, delivers bass-heavy electronic sounds.
