Heartland | milktea & Arsen Superfly

With milktea and Arsen Superfly

This episode of Heartland features Arsen Superfly, a DJ and collector of rare vinyl records from Kazakhstan. Since the late 1980s, he's been dedicated to music, performing, organising events, and supporting young artists. In the 2000s and 2010s, he focused on collecting Soviet groove, Central Asian, and Kazakh music, despite the challenge of poor preservation. He uploaded several compilations online, including Soviet Grooves and Kazakh Mix. As the organiser of Groove Me and a resident at festivals like Jazzystan and The Spirit of Tengri, he blends various genres and styles into vibrant performances. His interests span house, broken beat, UKG, world ethnic music, and disco funk, creating unique musical journeys he calls Worldwide Grooves.
