The third episode from Ether Ground is done entirely from sound recordings of protests and clashes in different areas of Palestine, where sound is a very important element of those events, where people chant and shout in one voice, the intensity of the sound rising as the events get more intense. Beyond those obvious facts, there is a special relationship between sound and politics, which is emphasised in the composition itself: it is used as the power that is capable of moving and confronting, not simply as the power of chants alone, but also as a physical essence. This is reflected in the contrast between the original sounds and their transformation into new sounds which are even more intense.
