On this episode of Cultural Cadence we're joined by Jewish revolutionary socialist, writer & activist Rachael Shapiro. We'll identify and dissect some of the prevailing narratives around Zionism, Judaism, and Palestinian liberation, particularly in the context of German repression against the Palestine solidarity movement, while sharing some personal stories and anecdotes. We kick things off & culminate the show with some tracks from "Beats From The Levant", a beat tape by Metro Beirut Records paying homage to the Levant's region of musicians and their timeless masterpieces. Half of the proceeds will go to various relief efforts in Lebanon, while the other half will support the (MAP) medical aid for Palestinians.
