LE 18 Marrakech is a multidisciplinary art space and an artist residency opened in 2013 in the Medina of Marrakech. It is a space for research, creation, encounters, mutual learning, and the sharing of knowledge. The space has developed organically and through a collaborative approach and through open and inclusive dialogue with diverse communities. The space hosts various cyclical programmes such as Qanat and others. QANAT is a multidisciplinary and collective platform for research and experimentation, exploring the politics and poetics of water in Morocco. This mix is a selection of residents and programmes that rocked LE 18. Through this compilation, you’ll feel the vibe of this vibrant country and the delicate balance between tradition and modernity.
