AMBIENT HARDCORE | Nick Klein

A few years ago one of my best friends, Glyn Maier, released an album by Nazanin Noori. It arrived to my home, which was at the time, in Den Haag. Nazanin's album was a masterpiece and struck a nerve as I listened through Glyn's other incredible offerings on his label Enmossed. Fast forward to 2023/2024 and I find Nazanin to be my friend, someone I think ideologically operates on a similar frequency. Nazanin's work and its sense of scale is a great inspiration to me, and reminds me that not everything in this cultural industry is a barren landscape. Nazanin inspires me to keep going on with projects. I am humbled to be considered to participate in her series. She kept reiterating "hardcore" to me in thinking of the musical curation for this radio show. I tried to be tasteful. The world right now is at a crux, look to those who open new doorways in your life. Love to Nazanin.
