Yağmur Ruzgar

Born in Istanbul, based in Berlin, Yağmur Ruzgar holds a bachelor's degree in Urban Planning and a master’s degree in Public Art. She started her career as an editor—writing for various magazines in the fields of art, architecture, cities, and design. Alongside, she established urbanbacklog, a blog based on visual impressions about cities. and opened the lecture series Seeking Unseen—investigating and addressing the value of urban spaces. In 2017, she co-founded the multidisciplinary studio Paleworks producing works ranging from creative direction & consultancy to branding, photography to object and spatial design.
