sibaTHATHU is a DJ trio based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The collective specializes in Gqom, Techno, and Tribal music, and was officially formed in January 2023.

With over 10 years of individual experience in the music and entertainment industry, sibaTHATHU consists of uNOSii, FKA Moses, and THAT$HYHOMIE, who individually have released hits in Hip Hop, Afrotech, Amapiano, and Alternative genres.

The sibaTHATHU sound is a fusion of Techno, Bass, Afrotech, and and early 2000s South African sound called Tribal, with a bit of electronic infusion also known locally as “isqinsi”.

The collective has graced stages in several venues around Johannesburg, such as ANDclub, The Compound, Kitcheners, and Great Dane, to name a few. With the help of Henny & Jager, sibaTHATHU plans to expand their music to the rest of South Africa and international dance floors. As we believe this is an international sound and everyone needs to hear it.
