Sainte Marina

Marina Mardas (aka Sainte Marina) is a Paris-based Lebanese transdisciplinary artist. Her work encompasses visual arts, writing and music, revolving around memory, its remainings and decay. Aesthetically her work oscillates between vivid colours and black and white, offering haunted visions or traces of existing or supposed memories. Producing and DJing as Sainte Marina, her ghostly melodies float between experimental, dark ambient and noise music. Her sets are built as emotional narratives visited by voices sampled from archives of the contemporary world.
