Sailesh Naidu

Sailesh Naidu (they/them) is a poet, filmmaker, and multi-disciplinary artist. In 2021 their short film “DogFriend” had its world premiere at the British Film Institute, was featured at the Tribeca Film Festival, and was nominated for the German Oscar in 2022. Collectively their performances and writing have been featured in the NYTimes, Die Zeit, The Schwules Museum, Gropius Bau, Urania Berlin, LiteraturHaus Berlin, DADDY Magazine, GALDEM, Volksbühne Berlin, Berghain am Kantine, Gallerie im Turm among many others. They are currently an Open Television Fellow developing fictional narrative series.
