Running Hot

Born and bred in South Wales, but now based in Berlin via London, Running Hot has emerged as a rising star within the underground music scene. His journey into the realm of electronic music began at the early age of thirteen, sparked by an introduction to hardcore rave tapes from a school friend. This early exposure laid the foundation for a lifelong love affair.

A stint in London saw him build his profile as a well respected and versatile DJ and digger recognized for his versatility and musical intuition. His performances in and around the capital eventually earned him a residency at the iconic original venue of London's esteemed club, The Cause.

Last year he released his debut EP “The Hardest Step Is Always First” which he has since followed up with a string of successful releases that has gathered support from a who’s who of underground tastemaker DJs like Avalon Emerson, Job Jobse, Paramida & Roza Terenzi with plays at some of Europe’s most renowned clubs (Panorama Bar, De School, Fabric) and festivals (Dekmantel, Love International, Selectors) as well as broadcasters like BBC Radio 1, Boiler Room and Hör.

2023 saw him continue his upward trajectory, commencing the year with a Latin America tour and then making his mark on dance floors around Europe over the summer at festivals like Love International. As the year draws to a close, he’s heading off on a debut tour of Asia and poised for an exciting trajectory into 2024. With several highly anticipated releases already slated for the upcoming year, he has firmly established himself as an artist to watch.
