Najib Abidi

Tunisian artist with cinema background, hooked to African music frequencies as a selector. Since almost two years he is not anymore behind desks. Instead, he is digging a new experience of acoustic music; composing, songwriting, singing and playing rhythm guitar. It’s a new band/album project aiming to re-connect with a certain sourcing of sound, identities and values. Takhmeera is the name; it means in North African traditions a state of trance under the effect of music played in circles.
