Mala Herba is a solo project of Zosia Hołubowska, a Polish musician and producer, sound artist and queer activist living in Vienna; who is a member of Oramics - a collective working for the fair treatment of women and queer artists in the Eastern European electronic music scene.
In 2014, Mala Herba founded Sounds Queer? - an initiative exploring experimental queer methodologies in sound art and singing as a process of creating knowledge. She has performed, inter alia, in Mumok (Vienna, Austria) and the Guggenheim Museum (Bilbao, Spain), and her project Community of Grieving, recorded together with Julia Giertz, was presented at the 2020 Unsound Festival.
