Laura’s sound draws inspiration primarily from the golden era of early 2000s tech house while incorporating elements of breaks, electro, minimal, and leftfield infused with atmospheric pads, permeating sub-lows, 303 basslines, and shifting hypnotic grooves. Classic, retro components blended with forward-thinking concepts create a notable audio blend that is simultaneously futuristic and nostalgic; abstract but concrete. She engages her listeners with astute track presentation and recognisably smooth, warm, methodical blends in her mixing.

With respected releases on Sunday Sessions LA, Honne Music, Yoon, Gliese Records, and more Laura has established a mainstay presence throughout southern California and northern Mexico and has seen plenty of support for her work from well-respected, established international acts. Laura is not just a producer and selector but also an event curator for her brand Elicit, which aims to bring cutting-edge artists to the San Diego area to expose attendees to music styles that will stimulate them intellectually and somatically, propelling them to feel something different.
