Kamunts is the artist solo name of Anna Sakhlyan, who first got known in Armenia and abroad for her post-punk female duo Jrimurmur. Today Kamunts focuses on producing club-oriented electronic music, fusing her experience as musician with her deep love and entanglement with Armenian’s club scene. She worked as a curator at The Øffice, one of Yerevan main club and started her label Dzayn, which means « voice » in Armenian. She also co-funded the Projector Room parties series and her high-energy sets transform spaces into pulsating dance havens. She tailors musical journeys that often recall euphoric memories and stylistic eclectism.
