Ukrainian-born, Berlin-based, justcallmesergio (Serhiy) takes inspiration from the origins of 90s house. His journey in music production started in 2020, when he self-released his first track. Since then he’s only been getting busier as he also started DJing, joining forces with other fellow Ukrainians at Vechornytsi crew parties throughout Berlin, casadephunk crew residency, as well as making mixes for THF and Gasoline radio stations. While fast, groovy, hard house and dub techno are his favourites, Serhiy loves to play some disco house as well. In the summer of 2023, he released his first EP called ‘String Theory of Love’, a deeply personal material that had been brewing for months. His next album, 9-track ‘1989’ was released in April 2024, a homage to acid and deep house, featuring some surprise disco samples, and found love not only online, but also on the dancefloors of Berlin clubs, including Panorama Bar and Watergate. This July Serhiy debuted at HÖR, the popular streaming platform, together with his music partner Rina Katen.
