From Helsinki via Glasgow, Ida Koskunen's recognition continues to rise, and rightly so. After impressing at shows in Ibiza and Glasgow, Boiler Room invited IDA on her own tour which saw her play a sold-out run of shows all across the UK, with both the brand and Mixmag naming her as one of their 'key ones to watch'. Following a stand-out few years, IDA was also invited to host her renowned Acid Flash parties at Glasgow's legendary Sub Club, making her a resident of the longest-running underground dance music venue in the world. Elsewhere, Koskunen is fast becoming a regular face all across Europe thanks to her consistent delivery at venues such as Berlin's Griessmuehle, About Blank and Renate. As well as performing solo, she's been invited to play multiple B2Bs with revered DJs like Daniel Avery, in locations like a secret car park in Paris. With a dedication to make people dance and a passion for discovering lesser-known artists as well as rare, obscure records, starting a label made intuitive sense to IDA.
