Fulgeance

Hyperactive and inventive producer at the origin of multiple projects like Souleance, Peter Digital Orchestra and Claude (his "house" project), Fulgeance produces a powerful hip-hop-electro sound as much inspired by the analogical musics of the 70's (Moggi, Moroder, Bernard Fevre), the instrumental and electronic hip-hop of Detroit (Dabrye, J Dilla) and his deepest influence, the funk. It is above all in live that he deploys the full measure of his talent. A real stage beast, the producer has been thrilling audiences from Tokyo to Vilnius, passing through Los Angeles, London, Detroit, Athens or Tel Aviv with his explosive and ultra-dynamic set. In the space of three years, this international artist has built a solid reputation on stage, while maintaining an "independent" logic. Signed on his own label Musique Large, his 3 Eps Chico, Low Club and Glamoure received an excellent critical reception and were quickly played and playlisted by Gilles Peterson, Marry Ann Hobbs or Lefto. He also released in parallel on the label All City one of the parts of the 7*7 series alongside Hudson Mohawke, Mike Slott,Le Neko, Onra, Smartbanging on the groundbreaking english label One Handed Music (Bullion, Paul White) and 3 albums, To All Of You in November 2011 at Melting Pot Music Cologne), Step Thru on the Slovenian label Rx:tx in November 2013, his first LP Cubes on Musique Larg in 2014, the conclusion of his 3 maxis on Musique Large. He signs in 2016 The Phoenix, on the prestigious label ED BANGER and then an exclusive track on their compilation ED REC 100. 2018 will be the year of GANGUE, a project supported by DOUR Festival, Marsatac and Nordik Impakt in collaboration with the member of La Fine Equipe and Haring, but also the release of his EP to the 6 bangers The Low Club Anthems. His album "Musique & Boisson" at Musique Large, received a very nice support from the press (FIP, Nova, Mowno, Libé, Tsugi, Stepping Into Tomorrow...). Entirely composed and written with analog synthesizers & an old drum machine, Fulgeance writes a simple music moment combining vintage sounds and quality drinks, which is released on cassette, served with a natural wine & a local beer. January 2023 welcomes “Fulgeance et la Mer” on Musique Large, made with vintage and modern synths, flirting between ambient, electronica and new age music. “ROUNDS” drops in April 2025 on Musique Large. Symbolically following “CUBES”, the first album from the MPC challenger, ROUNDS is a florikège of beats, wonky house & future funk with a twist of ambient. Analog synths & micro-chopped-samples make sthis album unique and out of range in nowadays electronic music.
