Felix Kusser

Das Wettbüro is a Berlin electronica krautrock band known for blending experimental lyrics with an odd-edge musical style, inspired by themes of chance, risk, and life’s unpredictability. Formed in 2019 in Berlin, the band's name, which translates to The Betting Office, reflects their fascination with uncertain outcomes and life's gambles, a recurring motif in their music. The musical style is probably best described as a multilayered sound collage with the use of a variety of instruments and samples to trigger the listener's reward system. Their debut EP „Gewinnt immer“ („always wins“) was released in 2022 on the Label Candomblé Records in Düsseldorf. The city has a long-spanning musical history of krautrock bands like Neu!, Kraftwerk, Can or DAF which are constantly pushing this genre forward. In 2024 the band released their single „Abendtarif“ on the British label Turnend Tapes as part of a compilation. They played shows at festivals and venues like Salon des Amateurs, Schrippe Hawai, Garbicz Festival, and Cosmic Deluxe Festival and did mixes for different international radio shows.
