Leke Awoyinka has carved a unique niche as a multi-discipline sound artist continually searching to connect audio bleeps between his experiences living/working across Europe and Africa. His new radio show, ‘The Ekiti Sound Show’ recently launched on Hot FM Lagos and is the only dedicated specialist electronic music show on all Nigerian terrestrial radio.

Ekiti Sound’s inaugural, award-winning album ‘Abeg No Vex’ garnered international support upon release in 2019. It marked the arrival of Ekiti Sound as a genre-defying act to watch, shaping the new sound of Afro-Fusion.

‘Abeg No Vex’ was awarded the 2019 German Music Critics Award for Best Electronic & Experimental album, voted for by over 150 music critics/journalists, as well as widespread acclaim and support from tastemakers and publications such as Pop Matters, The Quietus, AfroPunk, DJ Mag and many more.
