DJ Polo

Since 2016 Bristol based DJ & producer DJ POLO has become a mainstay in the world of UK Funky.

Influenced heavily by early UK Funky, he is also inspired by genres from around the world such as Afrobeat, Gqom, Baile Funk & Kuduro. His debut EP was released on Roska Kicks & Snares and tore up clubs worldwide, since then he has released music on labels such as High End Times, Super Kitchen and More Time. His track was also featured on the catwalk for Colin Horgan’s show at London Fashion WeeK. 

DJ POLO also holds down a residency at ‘Club Djembe’ as well as running his own club night - ‘Sprung’ and provides dancefloors across Europe with his heavily percussive sets. He is also a regular radio guest, supplying the likes of Marcus Nasty and Crazy Cousins with mixes for their Rinse FM shows. 

Following up from his summer LP Polo Collection 1, 2021 is set to be a year packed with fire releases from DJ POLO.
