Cmba

Cmba is a Brazilian multidisciplinary artist based in Berlin, characterised by pushing the boundaries of his performances in various musical styles.

Encompassing the dancefloor, radio shows, releases, and sound design for cultural and fashion brands in prestigious spaces, as well in one of the world's most famous museums, the Oscar Niemeyer Museum. Late 2023 and early 2024 marked a significant career milestone with the release of a sold-out cassette mixtape “Folkways” via Quiet Place Radio Records.

Cmba's club and festival sets blend a complex and dynamic selection of house, techno, breakbeat, and UK garage. His experimental work explores ambient, spoken word, folk, and experimental sounds. The artist is also a resident DJ at the renowned Fyal in Germany, hosts the Quiet Place project, and currently idealises the Skew collective between São Paulo and Berlin, constantly looking for innovation and experimentation within the scene, having shared the stage with many names from the global underground scene.
