Chasys

Chasys is the ambient, electronic & experimental project of Berlin-based, Argentinian producer Ariel Schlichter. On it, a mixture of evolving textural pads, generative sequences, heavily processed samples, electronic beats, and melodies coexist, creating a unique and personal take on electronic music production. His debut LP 'Decomposition Method' (2023) was released through Lassi International, and the follow-up, fully ambient 'Tunnel Mountain' (2023) came out through Puddle Label. 2024 saw the release of a couple of singles & EPs recorded live during the development of his live set, and he's currently working on a conceptual sci-fi LP named 'Neo CABA 2' which tells a story placed 200 years in the future in the city of Buenos Aires, where dystopian, dramatic reality meets pathetic humor as the tracks take the role of soundtracking the narrative.
