Cajoux

Cajoux (she/her) draws from her diverse cultural influences she brings diverse palette of music including hidden gems from Africa and its diaspora. Her sets of syncopated and polyrhythmic beats, spanning kuduro, baile funk and Afro house, are designed to get you grooving and take you on an adventure you never knew you needed.

Since bursting onto the Cape Town scene in late 2019, she’s quickly made a name for herself playing with Floyd Lavine and other local favourites. She’s one of the organisers of Riddim Method, a regular event featuring only femme artists and DJs, and a platform for marginalised artists to express themselves through the language of sound.
