For his research, his music, and for his visual art, Bloomfeld probes all nodes of cultural production seeking innovation. Both his productions and DJ sets within themselves range from ethno-futurist brain dance over functional or stupid club heaters.

He’s trying to widen the overlap between progressive politics of the dancefloor, hedonistic escapism, heads over-intellectualising music, and accepting existence as a cosmic joke making what comes out the speakers is just wiggly air after all.

Bloomfeld runs the recently established Overthinker Mob imprint, a platform that aims to tackle the headaches of the creative industry one by one and a label that publishes overthought music anonymously. He has been a founding member of community radio projects in Germany and the UK.
