Black Eyes

Whilst excelling as a producer of self-described "Hydro-Trip" which is deep and trippy house inspired by his love of water, Black Eyes is primarily a DJ at heart and always will be. His sound is heavily influenced by Detroit producers Mike Huckaby, Walt J, Omar S, and Norm Talley, as well as European artists like MCDE with his unique mixing style. These influences shine through both in his sets and in the releases on his own label, Lost Control 2097, most notably heard over a seven-year residency with the infamous NTS radio. His deep sound is pushed even further more recently via Balamii radio where he hosts monthly proceedings with invited international guests.

Since moving to Berlin in 2022, he has released "Planet People - Terra Firma" with Reedale Rise which was picked as one of the records of the year for 2023 by Phonica in London. His solo EP "Hydro-Trip vol 1" came out last August on Lost Control 2097 with a remix from Rolando of Los Hermanos / Underground Resistance fame.
