If you talk about Munich nightlife, Benjamin Röder surely pops up in conversation: For over a decade he has been hosting hand-picked selectors from all over the world at Charlie. Together with Manuel Kim, he organises his hometown’s undoubtedly most euphoric party series HYTOP, coming along with a monthly radio show of the same name broadcasted by the community radio Radio 80k. Once in a while, he releases his own music and visualises the cities’ scene with various artworks, posters, and record covers. His energy-filled DJ sets can be described as a mixture of dub-influenced disco, loft classics, cosmic, and the hottest new bangers.
