Babxi

Raised on the Canada prairies with Filipino, Scottish, and Irish heritage, Babxi's unique ‘Dreamcatcher of House and Disco’ is woven from her multicultural upbringing: it blends together female vocals-driven, feel-good tracks with a special emphasis on 90s house, classic disco and underground dance music from Asian and diaspora producers. Think high energy, and nostalgic grooves for free spirits and old souls at heart!

She's showcased her repertoire across influential Berlin clubs from KaterBlau to KitKat, around Germany (Frankfurt's Tanzhaus West, Hamburg's Prinzenbar) and Thailand (Mustache Bangkok, Baba Loop). More favourite experiences in the electronic music scene include covering nightlife as a culture and travel journalist, as well as a live set on HÖR and being the first pregnant woman to play at Frankfurt's legendary Tanzhaus West.

Since 2021, she has been a resident of the Berlin-based house and disco collective Diskolusion. Beyond having a baby this summer, catch her at a few festival gigs around Germany and working on her first upcoming track releases – stay tuned!
