Melomaniac, producer and DJ from Lima, now based in Berlin, Aristidez is the co-founder and curator of the infamous Casalocasa dance party, founded in 2012, which has brought to Lima artists such as Matias Aguayo, Hunee, Ron Morelli, Kim Ann Foxman, Jacques Renault, Manfredas, Thomas Von Party, Hugo Capablanca, Alejandro Paz, Djs Pareja, Fantastic Man, Andras, Fabrizio Mammarella, Moon B, Rodion, Mijo; among others. In such events, Aristidez has established himself as one of the main references of the Lima scene, always characterized by his eclecticism and unique musical selection. This has led him to play in the best dance clubs in Lima and Latin America such as Videoclub and Paradisco in Bogota, Calle 9+1 in Medellin, Rhodesia in Mexico City; as well as festivals such as Fauna Primavera and Recreo in Chile.
With a couple of EPs and a handful of remixes released both digitally and on vinyl, his music has been played by DJs such as Matias Aguayo, Andrew Weatherall, Yu Su, Thomas Von Party, Fabrizio Mammarella, at parties, radios and portals such as NTS, Rinse FM, Ransom Note, to mention a few. He currently co-directs Behua Icára (“songs to heal” in Shipibo Conibo Xetebo language), a non-profit electronic music label created to economically help, make visible and promote the art and music of the Peruvian Amazonian community Shipibo Conibo Xetebo; which has two compilations in which producers such as Dengue Dengue Dengue Dengue, Toma Kami, Carmen Villain, Nico, Eomac, among others, have collaborated. He directs the listening cycle “América Perdida”, which focuses on the rescue of rare, little known and alternative Latin American music. He is also preparing his first LP album entitled “Uncultured Rhythms” to be released in September 2024 on the Canadian label Multi Culti.
