Abby Young-Powell

Abby is an independent journalist and writer based in Berlin. Her work has been published in the Guardian, Prospect magazine, Huck magazine, the Observer, the i Paper and the Independent, among others. She previously worked on staff at the Guardian and in recent years has won two fellowships from the International Journalist Programme, as well as an investigative journalism grant from the Journalism Fund, which took her to Iceland for extended periods of time. She is also a dancer (mainly house and soul) and spends most of her time outside of work in the dance studio.
